The Ibanez MM1 is the signature model for German guitar virtuoso Martin Miller. Its resonant African mahogany body is capped with gorgeous flamed maple. Its Seymour Duncan Hyperion humbuckers preserve your clarity when you're using distortion, while its dyna-MIX 10 switching system provides 10 different pickup combinations for an endless well of sounds. Benefit from unprecedented comfort and stability, thanks to the MM1's S-TECH WOOD roasted maple neck and fingerboard. Bend, twist, and dive-bomb with perfect intonation, by virtue of the MM1's Gotoh T1802 tremolo. Part of Ibanez's upscale Signature line, the MM1 is a top-shelf instrument.

S-TECH WOOD roasted maple neck offers stability and durability

The MM1's roasted maple neck was subjected to Ibanez's S-TECH WOOD nitrogen-heating treatment, which increases its stability, durability, water resistance, and tolerance to temperature changes. The neck is then sealed with oil, resulting in a well-played feel. And it's supremely comfortable — its fingerboard edge was finished with a smooth curve that extends through the border between the fingerboard and the neck to the fingerboard itself. Beyond that, this guitar's AZ Oval C-shaped neck fills your hand nicely at the lower frets, while providing a more modern feel when playing up high.

Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups yield an endless array of tones

The Ibanez MM1's Seymour Duncan Hyperion humbuckers are amongst the most balanced-sounding pickups we've heard here at Music Experience. These passive humbuckers yield a moderate output and sport Alnico V magnets, which preserve the clarity of your fundamental tone in high-gain situations. You'll also benefit from a dynamic and clear pick attack. Beyond that, Ibanez's dyna-MIX 10 switching system provides 10 different pickup combinations via a mini toggle and 5-way blade switch. Whatever tone you're hearing in your head, the MM1 can achieve it.

Gotoh T1802 tremolo provides excellent tuning stability

Developed in collaboration with Gotoh, the MM1's T1802 bridge features machined titanium saddles and a solid-steel tremolo block, ensuring quick response and amazing articulation. String skipping and hybrid picking is effortless, thanks to narrow string spacing. Loading the guitar's tremolo arm is a breeze, by virtue of the T1802's snap and hold socket, and its arm torque adjuster allows for fine adjustments without any tools. The T1802's stud lock screws lock the stud bolts in place, enhancing the instrument's resonance and providing excellent tuning stability. Beyond that, the T1802's 2-point floating tremolo system achieves an astoundingly smooth tremolo motion in either direction.

    What Martin Miller Says...

"My name is Martin Miller, I'm a professional guitar player from Germany. For my whole life I've been surrounded with music and decided to pick up the guitar sometime during elementary school. During my late teens I decided to get serious about the whole guitar thing, went to conservatory for several years and later attended the renowned Carl-Maria-von-Weber college of music in Dresden. There I paid most of my dues in anything related to music and guitar. I got to play in a lot of bands with a lot of different musicians, an invaluable learning experience. After 5 years of academic studies, I finally received my diploma in guitar and music pedagogy in 2010. Right now I'm busy doing clinics and gear demonstrations all over the world, guitar and mixing sessions and I'm a regular contributer at Jamtrackcentral.com. My first solo album was released via JTC Records in 2013 and features a lot of very cool players (Federico Malaman, Ricky Quagliato, etc.). I'm also a member of the Tom Goetze Band, which we released a great live-in-the-studio album with named "Bass Shuttle". Starting from 2012 I did my first international tours featuring my original music exclusively, which also led me to countries outside of Europe such as the USA, Thailand and Russia. A while ago I've picked up work on a new band project that is going to feature Sebastian Lanser (Drums, Panzerballett) and Anton Davidyants (Bass, Impact Fuze). Along with that I also produced an album with Tom Quayle that is ready for a release in 2015. On top of this, Tom Quayle and I did a duo tour in 2014, doing concerts and clinics all over Europe and Japan. Musicians I've performed, recorded and/or had lessons with: Federico Malaman, Riccardo Quagliato, Anton Davidyants, Gergo Borlai, Hadrien Feraud, Sebastian Lanser, Tom Goetze, Heiko Jung, Michal Skulski, Marius Leicht, Till Broenner, Stephan Bormann, Guthrie Govan, Marco Sfogli, Kiko Loureiro, Feodor Dosumov, Ricky Bertuzzi, Daniele Gottardo, Matthias "IA" Eklundh, Atma Anur, Stu Hamm, Tom Quayle, Rick Graham, Andy Wood, Wolfgang Schmid, Matthias Baetzel and many more."

    Seymour Duncan® Hyperion™ Pickups

Seymour Duncan® Hyperion™ Pickups feature a moderate output through Alnico-5 magnets to keep the clarity of the fundamental tone when using a distortion sound, and to deliver a clear pick attack. From treble to bass, the overall tonal balance is evenly adjusted., and works well with various effect pedals.

    dyna-MIX 9 switching system w/Alter switch
