With just the twist of a knob, Smart CFX captures the complex, detailed techniques used by your favorite DJs, allowing you to inject multitudes of dazzling and dynamic flourishes into your set, evocatively gluing tracks together or emphasizing key moments with boundless sonic color whenever the groove moves you. Smart Fader, on the other hand, is your all-in-one transition tool, commanding a triumvirate of volume, tempo, and bass controls to painlessly mix tracks, regardless of the differences in tempo. Just push the crossfader and let DDJ-FLX2 handle the heavy lifting.

Decks are just the beginning

The DDJ-FLX2’s robust jog wheels provide plenty of heft to dial in even the finest of flourishes with ease, but this controller’s menagerie of mixing capabilities goes beyond its dynamic decks. Enter Pad Mode. Sixteen performance pads adorn the controller’s surface, expanding your performance palette to include a variety of possibilities. Using hot cues, for example, you can mark any point of a track, bookmark it, and jump straight to it at any time, while Pad FX lets you implement a diverse array of effects with the press of a pad to personalize your sets even further. For the adventurous among us, the Sampler mode is your blank check to cash with an endlessly customizable armada of samples, sounds, one-shots, and even drums for the finger drummers looking to augment their grooves.

The DDJ-FLX2 works with a number of DJ applications, including rekordbox and djay – popular choices among both beginners and professionals. After installing your preferred app on your mobile device, you can connect to the controller and start DJing right away. If you want to challenge yourself to learn more advanced techniques, you can use DJ software, such as Serato DJ Lite, on your PC/Mac.

Supports music streaming services

You can DJ with tracks from music streaming services to suit the the music and DJ style you want to play. The DDJ-FLX2 supports Beatport Streaming, Beatsource Streaming, SoundCloud Go+/DJ, and TIDAL. If you use the djay software/app, you can access Apple Music too. *Please note that the available music streaming services may vary depending on your DJ application and geographical location.

Mix support functions

It’s easy to replicate the seamless song mixing of professional DJs thanks to the Smart CFX* and Smart Fader* features on the DDJ-FLX2. Smart CFX, used with the Performance Pads, enables you to recreate complex and dynamic effect techniques. Smart Fader automatically optimizes control of the volume, BPM, and bass, so you can perform perfect mixes with by simply sliding the crossfader. *Function names and operations may vary depending on your DJ application.

Lightweight, compact body with user-friendly features

The DDJ-FLX2 is our lightest and most compact DJ controller. It runs on USB bus power, so there’s no need for an external power supply when you connect it to a PC/Mac or a mobile device* via USB Type-C. You can start DJing easily by playing music through the built-in speakers of your PC/Mac/mobile device. Or, if you plug speakers into the audio output terminals of the DDJ-FLX2, you can throw a loud party with friends. *Except for some Android devices.
