In classic elysia fashion, the museq stereo equalizer gives you premium components, 100% discrete Class A analog circuitry with optimally matched parameters, and the sound-shaping mojo of five EQ bands with generous gain ranges. Special features help you ace any tracking or mixing scenario, delivering extraordinary sonic width, depth, and openness, along with the surgical precision to handle any EQ challenge. Music Experience engineers have embraced the elysia museq not only as a powerful corrective tool but also as an inspiring creative tone shaper — and we’re confident you will too.
Enjoy the flexibility to solve virtually any EQ challenge, add rich harmonic color to your signal, and experience pristine audio performance from 100% discrete analog circuitry designed for optimal signal quality.
The elysia museq gives you exceptional control over your sound. Each of the two channels offers three parametric bands with a two-position switchable Q. The outer bands feature low and high shelving designs that can be switched into a cut mode with a resonance peak, preventing the knee frequency from sounding overly damped — reminiscent of classic inductor-based designs. Each channel’s five gain controls can be switched from boost to cut, doubling the available gain steps and making it fast and easy to pinpoint problem frequencies. Stepped potentiometers ensure precise, repeatable settings, perfect for mix bus and mastering applications.
Each channel includes a switchable option to add even-order harmonics, giving you instant access to the sweet coloration associated with legendary vintage console EQs. This effectively makes the museq two EQs in one. You might prefer the color mode for mixing and the clean mode for tracking — or vice versa — but either way, this feature quickly becomes an indispensable tonal shaping tool. The museq also includes Warm Mode, an additional sonic flavor that alters frequency spectrum, harmonic structure, and transient response for even more tonal versatility.
The elysia museq is built entirely with 100% discrete analog technology. All signal processing is handled by individual transistors operating in permanent Class A mode, and even the power supply uses fully discrete circuits. Technical excellence is found throughout the unit, including an oversized transformer, selected encapsulated conductive plastic potentiometers, and custom-designed current feedback amplifiers. This meticulous attention to detail ensures outstanding signal integrity and premium sound quality, even at extreme settings — a hallmark of elysia’s engineering philosophy.
