For the first time ever, Switchable Insert Routing lets you choose whether the Audient Mic Preamp or a DAW output feeds the ADC path on a per-channel basis — all without repatching cables. Additionally, dedicated Returns allow you to bypass the Audient preamps entirely, providing a pristine conversion path when tracking with external analogue mic preamps.

The iD48 is not only a powerful USB-C audio interface, but also a complete monitoring solution. Two independent, engineer-grade headphone amplifiers provide 124dB of dynamic range and ample power to drive headphones up to 600 ohms with confidence.
