The Ibanez Artcore AG75 Hollowbody electric is an outstanding instrument with beautiful design and appointments at a great price. The AG75G features a linden body finished in a gorgeous gloss. A pair of Classic Elite Humbuckers kick out killer humbucker tone, and an ART-1 with VT06 Tailpiece provides outstanding sustain and tonal support. In addition, a smooth nyatoh neck with laurel fingerboard is playable and responsive, great for jazz, blues, and rock styles.
The fully hollow body of the AG75G is an inch thinner than a standard hollowbody, producing more midrange and reducing boomy feedback. And the pair of Classic Elite Humbuckers along with a 3-way pickup selector and bridge and neck volume and tone controls give you ample options for dialing in great tone. Blues, jazz, and even rock players will find these humbuckers ideal for getting that full, warm humbucking sound. These Elite Humbuckers are a favorite among guitarists here at Music Experience.
The nyatoh neck and laurel fingerboard on the AG75G are incredibly responsive and playable. The 22 medium frets and 24.7" scale length make chording and lead playing a breeze. And with the ART-1 with VT06 Tailpiece, you get the kind of sustain and tone support that let you explore your own unique style.
Ibanez began its life in 1908 as the Hoshino Gakki company in Nagoya, Japan. However, the company didn’t get into the guitar business until 1929, when they started importing Salvador Ibanez guitars from Spain. In 1935, Hoshino Gakki began building Spanish acoustic guitars under the Ibanez Salvador name, which was later shortened to Ibanez. Although Ibanez began manufacturing electric guitars in 1957, the company was relatively unknown in the West until the 1960s, when they started producing guitars based on American designs. By the late 1970s, Ibanez had stopped producing derivative guitars and had begun manufacturing the original designs that the company is now known for. Ibanez is also famous for their effects pedals (most notably the Tube Screamer) and guitar amplifiers.
Ibanez introduced Artcore in 2002 and has been the hollow-body guitar of choice for musicians for the last 10 years. The Artcore's combination of quality workmanship and affordability has created legions of fans from diverse genres as blues, country, rock and jazz. Musicians can find the purity of an old school style jazz-box to a hybrid semi-hollow rocker. Artcore is highly respected for its tone, sustain and the way they hold their tuning and how the series continues to push the boundaries of guitar building.
The Gibraltar Performer bridge provides rich sustain and tuning stability.
The low positioned saddles promise comfortable playability.
The Sure Grip III knobs are designed for precise control with nonslip functionality, along with smooth and classic looks.
The Classic Elite pickups offer rich, nuanced tone with fat low-end.
