Martin introduced the X Series line 20 years ago with the aim of producing an acoustic guitar from more eco-friendly materials while still retaining all the earmarks of a Martin guitar: great design; impeccable tone; and instant playability. The GPC-X2E Ziricote continues this vision in grand fashion. This Grand Performance body is made from a sapele top with a figured ziricote HPL back and sides for bold, balanced tone and stellar projection. A select hardwood neck and fingerboard offer smooth playability and response, and the deep cutaway gives you access to those higher notes and exploratory chordings. When you are ready to plug in, onboard Martin E-1 electronics kick out gorgeous amplified tone.

Fine appointments and detailed craftsmanship 

Other fine appointments on the GPC-X2E Ziricote include scalloped X-bracing for tone support and longevity. There are also stunning Style 28 dot inlays on the fingerboard and a single-ring abalone pattern rosette inlay soundhole. A genuine white Corian nut and TUSQ saddle provide further tonal support and a great aesthetic to this outstanding instrument.
