Retaining the discrete Class A topology that made the original 1073® legendary, the 1073SPX combines traditional through-hole construction in the audio path with modern in-house SMT production techniques. A classic 5dB stepped Elma gain switch provides precise level control across the full range, intelligently selecting the appropriate input stage without the need for a separate mic/line switch.
