New Drivers for Improved Performance

The PMC 6-2 features two newly designed 150mm bass drivers that work in tandem with ATL technology to deliver significantly improved bass response, rivaling that of many larger monitors. The tweeter is a customized HF driver manufactured by SB Acoustics, a company renowned for their high-quality drive units. To provide a generous listening sweet spot, the midrange driver is mounted in PMC’s proprietary n-compass waveguide, optimizing dispersion for coherent, linear response across a broad horizontal and vertical area. This combination delivers exceptional accuracy, transparency, and consistency for critical monitoring applications.

This approach absorbs unwanted rear radiation from the low-frequency drivers, allowing only the lowest frequencies to exit through a front-baffle vent that effectively acts as an auxiliary LF driver.
