The Classic TB Sequencer, Enhanced

The Roland TB-303 is a revered classic, and players familiar with its original programming method will feel right at home with the TB-03. Roland preserves the original Pitch and Time write modes while adding a new, intuitive Step mode. The LED display improves pattern programming by showing the active step and precise tempo values. New performance features let you trigger the internal sequencer via the trigger input or switch between write and play modes without stopping playback.

Modern Connectivity with External Gear

While the original TB-303 predated MIDI, the TB-03 is fully equipped for modern setups with MIDI I/O and USB connectivity. It can control external analog gear and modular synthesizers via CV/Gate outputs, while a trigger input allows external equipment to drive the TB-03’s sequencer. When connected to a Mac or PC, the USB port transmits both audio and MIDI data, making it ideal for direct recording into your preferred DAW.
